The Henley Group Riding for the Disabled
Every Wednesday in term time the Henley Group of the RDA give riding lessons at Checkendon Equestrian Centre to a mixture of young adults from the Henley College Pathway Centre and young, energetic special needs children from Stoke Row Primary School. The children enjoy exercise and learn to walk, trot and occasionally canter. Special treats are either a hack through the woods or a game of “Simple Simon”. Thanks to the generosity of the public through fundraising, we make no charge for these lessons.
